Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect only what we need to sell you the software and support you — mainly your email and purchase details, handled by our payment provider. Your controller configurations stay in your own browser. We don't sell your data. You have full rights over your data under the GDPR.

1.Who controls your data
The data controller for the personal data described in this policy is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME / SOLE TRADER NAME], based in [CITY, Spain] ("we", "us", "our"). For any privacy question, contact help@ozarkhelper.com.
2.What we collect
We collect:
- Purchase information — your email address and order details (plan, amount, date). Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Support information — anything you send us when you contact support or request a free setup (your email, and the details you choose to share about your needs).
- Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, used to keep the site working and secure.
If, when requesting a free accessibility setup, you choose to tell us about a disability or health condition, that is special-category data. We use it only to provide the setup you asked for, and only because you have chosen to share it with us for that purpose.
3.Why we use it, and our legal basis
| What for | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Processing your purchase and giving you access | Performance of a contract |
| Providing support and free setups you request | Performance of a contract / your consent |
| Using any health-related detail you share for a free setup | Your explicit consent |
| Keeping the site secure and working | Our legitimate interests |
| Meeting tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
4.Your controller configurations
The configurations you build in the configurator (your remaps, toggles, dead-zone, and layouts) are stored locally in your own browser using browser storage. They are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. If you export a configuration file, that file is saved to your own device. Clearing your browser data will remove configurations saved in your browser.
5.Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- Payment provider — [PAYMENT PROVIDER, e.g. our checkout and card processor], to process payments;
- Hosting and infrastructure — [HOSTING PROVIDER], to host the website;
- Email and communication tools — [EMAIL/DELIVERY PROVIDER, if any], to send order confirmations and support replies.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
6.International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
7.How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements (which in Spain is generally several years). Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep.
8.Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. To exercise any of these, email help@ozarkhelper.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), at www.aepd.es.
9.Cookies & local storage
We use only the cookies and browser storage necessary for the site and configurator to function (for example, remembering your access while you use the configurator). [If you add analytics or marketing cookies, describe them here and provide a consent mechanism.]
10.Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
11.Children
The Service is not directed to children, and purchases require you to be 18 or older (or have parental consent). We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent.
12.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes take effect when posted.
